Could you please introduce your hotel career?

I’m in my 6th year as a hotel staff, including 3years as a deputy manager.

호텔에서 어떤 일을 해 오셨나요?

저는 6년 동안 호텔에서 근무했으며, 그 중 3년은 부장 직책을 맡았습니다.

How did you get into the hotel industry?

Always attracted to the hospitality industry, and my island Okinawa has been the well travel destination. Hotel business was perfect for me as a combination of those factors.

럭셔리 호텔산업에 종사하게 된 계기가 무엇인가요?

예전부터 서비스업에 대한 관심이 많았고, 오키나와가 좋은 관광지라고 생각해 왔습니다. (이곳에서의) 호텔사업은 이러한 두 관심사를 모두 충족시키는 최고의 조합이라고 생각합니다.

What does luxury mean to you?

Utmost relaxation with nature, still with plenty of comfort.

As an experienced hotelier, you must have become an expert about of hotel beddings. What are the most important features you look at when choosing bedding for yourself?

오랜 경력의 호텔리어로서, 호텔베딩의 전문가라고 해도 손색이 없으실 텐데요. 침구를 고를 때 가장 중요시하는 요소에는 무엇이 있나요?

매일 잠이 드는 내 방 침대 같은 편안함이 아닐까 싶습니다.

How long do you sleep a day on average?

5-6hours.

평균적으로 하루에 몇 시간 정도 주무시나요?

대여섯 시간 정도요.

What is the difference between hotel bedding and normal bedding?

Texture that makes guests find it luxury.

호텔침구와 일반침구의 차이점은 무엇이라고 생각하시나요?

고객이 럭셔리를 느낄 수 있게 만드는 포근한 감촉이라고 생각합니다.

What do you think is the average sleeping hours for normal Japanese?

5-6hours? Almost same as me.

일반적인 일본인들의 평균 수면시간은 어느 정도 된다고 생각하시나요?

대여섯 시간? 저랑 비슷할 것 같아요.

What does good night's sleep mean to you?
